ISG Provider Lens™ positions ISH Tecnologia as leader in 3 categories in cybersecurity market study

ISH Technology has been voted market leader for the second year running, this time in 3 quadrants, by the ISG Provider Lens™ Cybersecurity 2021 - Solutions & Services for Brazil report.

The study assessed the strengths and competitive differentiators of companies in the national cybersecurity market.

The first category in which ISH was elected leader is Technical Security Services, which includes integration, maintenance and support service providers for IT security solutions. The second category is Managed Security Services, which comprises operations and management of IT security infrastructures (known as Managed Detection and Response - MDR) for one or multiple customers through a Security Operation Center - SOC. Services include security monitoring, behavioural analysis, unauthorised access detection, firewall operations, among others.

What's new this year is that ISH has evolved to be considered a leader in a third category, Strategic Security Services. This category refers to companies that are able to balance technology capabilities with business governance, risk and compliance in services such as business process changes, user training, audit readiness and certification.

The explanation for the positive evaluation of the study, in the view of the president Rodrigo Dessaune, is the innovative look that the ISH has to invest in research and new technologies in the creation of modern solutions for data security. "It is the recognition of a 100% national capital company in the area of cybersecurity, demonstrated in an international study, which also considered multinational companies that operate in Brazil," he says.

For Dessaune, this also shows that the Brazilian market is becoming a global reference in cyber security. "The top executives of companies in Brazil are increasingly involved in cybersecurity decisions. Concerns about breaches and other vulnerabilities have grown," analyses the ISH president. Therefore, he says ISH is transforming offerings and adapting to respond to market dynamism with the right solutions, fuelling innovation in areas such as SOCaaS and cloud security. "We want to exceed market expectations," he says.

ISH Forces

The ISG Provider Lens™ study pointed to ISH's robust technical capabilities as strengths. The company's experts include more than 200 engineers and analysts in the SOC with more than 500 certifications, including PMP, ITIL, CISSP and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator Certification (CHFI). Their integration framework includes the funding model, implementation framework, security controls, tool integration and security governance.

The report also highlights the phased approach to large deployments created by ISH. This means that when undertaking large implementations in Brazil, deploying thousands of devices across so many branches, ISH needs to enable complex logistics. Another challenge is that customers require delivery in stages as legacy technology is decommissioned. ISH has developed a robust methodology, matured over the years, to provide secure delivery of SOCs while ensuring quality of service.

Finally, the unique Security-as-a-Service offering. ISH solutions are structured to enable the Security as a Service - SECaaS offering. This unique offering allows customers to accelerate digital transformation by reducing the need for investment in product acquisition.
